The International Conference on Polyolefin Characterization (ICPC) was born to satisfy the need for an international conference specifically focused on polyolefin characterization, since most of the existing polyolefin conferences dealt with catalyst and reaction engineering.
The ICPC Conference covers different aspects of Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) molecular architecture characterization, including molar mass distribution (GPC/SEC), comonomer incorporation and distribution, long chain branching, crystallinity, and rheological properties, and sustainability of materials and processes.
Being organized by Polymer Char, ICPC previous editions have been celebrated in Houston, TX, U.S.A. (2006, 2012, and 2018) in Valencia, Spain (2008, 2014, and 2023), and in Shanghai, China (2010 and 2016), covering the whole world map and becoming a truly international conference on the field of polyolefin characterization. The next edition will be organized in Shanghai, China, in 2025.
With attendees coming from over 25 countries and from the leading polyolefin players, around 35 lectures and 40 poster presentations in the last editions, ICPC unifies the participation of researchers from both industry and academia throughout all the continents, becoming the unique platform for learning, sharing, and networking. The ICPC is supported by many petrochemicals, research, and instrumentation manufacturing leaders.

The ICPC is a non-profit organization made possible with the support of Sponsors, Vendors and Partners. By sponsoring the 8th ICPC, you are contributing to the progress and development of more techniques and improved methods for the characterization of polyolefins, ultimately benefiting the industry and consumer market.
8th ICPC Sponsors Report
By sponsoring the ICPC, you are contributing to the advancement of research and the exchange of knowledge that can lead to the development of better, more sustainable products. We hope we can count on your support in future ICPC editions to continue fostering the development of tools and the discovery of methods that strengthen our community and positively impact our environment.
The sponsors’ report is a document accounting for all the activities and brand exposure each of the sponsors in different categories received as part of their package. Here is the 8th Edition’s performance report.
