This calibration kit is a mixture of 16 different polystyrene resins, already pre-weighted and dried into Polymer Char’s autosampler vials for the GPC columns calibration of any of the Polymer Char’s systems. The kit contains a total of 20 vials (10mL), with 4 different color caps, so it will allow up to 5 complete GPC columns calibrations. Each of the 4 different color-coded vials contains 4 polystyrenes with different molar masses. The kit certificate can be downloaded in the link below, where the specific MMD curves of each one of the 16 polystyrene samples can be found.
The Soluble Fraction Calibration kit includes 25g of four different polypropylene samples with different soluble fraction values within a wide range, including a homopolymer and other polypropylene resins with higher soluble fraction values. This kit can be used in Polymer Char’s CRYSTEX instruments for the Soluble fraction content calibration and also for the viscometer calibration, given the fact Intrinsic Viscosity values of the samples are provided in the certificate as well. This kit includes six PE Copolymer resins with different octene content, so it can be used for Polymer Char Infrared Detectors calibrations in Short Chain Branching. This kit is specially thought for Polymer Char’s instruments such as GPC-IR, CEF, CFC or others using IR4, IR5 or IR6 detectors. A total of 2g of each resin is provided in six small glass bottles together with a certificate with Density, Melt Index, CH3/1000C and %Wt comonomer values.
