Polymer Char provides instrumentation, analytical and consulting services, and accessories to petrochemicals, polymer producer laboratories, universities and research institutions, polymer processors, transformers, and now, also recyclers around the world.
Here is an overview of some of the industries we serve:
Polymer Char supplies most of its technologies to manufacturers and processors of polymers, mainly of polyolefins. The majority are key players in the polymer industry and have acquired a wide array of Polymer Char instruments to have a comprehensive study of their products.
Although with less frequency, some instrumentation is also acquired by Polymer Processors. Although they don't produce polyolefin resins, they find some techniques or analytical services useful to optimize their products.
Polymer Char also provides instruments to several universities, which focus their research in the area of polymer analysis. These universities are mainly located in North America, Western Europe, and the Middle East.
Polymer char also provides services and equipment to other large corporations that are not essentially petrochemical companies but need to develop new applications based on polyolefin materials or need to improve the properties of their existing products. This is the case of tire and rubber manufacturers, and metal and materials engineering companies.
Among our customers, there are some instrument manufacturers as well. These companies are based in the United States, Germany, and Japan, although their instruments are marketed worldwide.
In our client portfolio there are also catalysts manufacturers who use our instrumentation for testing and measuring the polyolefins they obtain.
Polymer Char has recently initiated collaborations that will lead to a more effective study of recycled resins.
