Alba Cárdenas
Chemist at Polymer Char
Alba Cardenas works at Polymer Char as a member of the Analytical Department, where she specializes in the use of state-of-the-art automated equipment for polymer characterization. Her main area of expertise focuses on intrinsic viscosity measurement instruments (IVA and IVA Versa) applied to polymers of various types, with particular relevance to polyolefins—especially UHMWPE—as well as PET and PA. She is currently involved in research studies aimed at analyzing intrinsic viscosity in materials from other origins.
She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Valencia (UV) and a master’s degree in Polymer and Composite Technologies, completed at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in collaboration with AIMPLAS.
